地貌学与环境决策

环境变化时常与地貌变化密切相关．因此，为挖掘或解决环境问题的环境政策的制定是离不开地貌学研究的支持。环境决策是涉及到概念、规划、执行和管理等多层次的决定过程，地貌学在这些过程中是能发挥一定程度的作用的。作为为环境决策服务的应用研究．地貌学可以研究各类地质、地貌现象的基本背景，评价人类活动的后果，预测人类活动的后果提议及评价环境的某些政策。
