从参与的视角看民主

民主发展到今天,无论是理论模式还是实践形态均经历了复杂的变化,但唯有作为其"硬核"的"参与"始终未变,一直是民主政治的强势诉求。古雅典民主由于种种原因实现了参与与民主的良性契合,而现代社会又由于更多复杂的因素使得参与与民主发生了背离。强势民主、参与民主等都是关于公民争取在民主政治中的地位的理论,然而参与与民主如何在新的环境里实现更高水平的融合尚有待探讨。

On Democracy from the View of Participation

Democracy develops gradually,and both its theoretical model and its practice patterns have undergone a complex change.But as the part of its "hard core",participation remained unchanged and has always been a strong democratic appeal.The ancient Athenian democracy achieved benign fit between participation and democracy for a variety of reasons;while participation and democracy deviate because of more complex factors in the modern society.Both strong democracy and participatory democracy are the theory about striving for the status of citizen participation in a democratic society.However,it has yet to explore how to achieve a higher level integration between participation and democracy in the new environment.
