| Abstract: | The transverse - field and crystal - field effects of the spin - 1 Ising model in the presence of a longitudinal field are studied with the scheme of mean -field approximation ( MFA). The phase diagrams and the other critical properties are investigated. The longitudinal and transverse magnetizations and the quadrupolar moments are calculated. |
