春秋战国时期三种士的形象

在春秋战国这样一个乱世,出现了三种颇具代表性的人,即逆时之士、隐逸之士与顺时之士。他们在历史舞台上扮演了不同的角色：逆时之士不满于现实,不愿与世沉浮,他们固守着自己的道,甚至不惜牺牲自己的生命;隐逸之士虽然对现实不满,但不同的是,他们能够超然物外,或游于精神世界,或躬耕于田园;顺时之士与此二者恰恰相反,他们顺应历史发展潮流,追求个人价值的实现,从而成为那个时代的主角。

Three Images of Scholars in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods

The Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods were the unrest periods in the history of China. In such turbulent periods, there have been three typical life styles of scholars, including antagonism, seclusion and conforming. They had played different roles in the history. The antagonist scholars, who were dissatisfied with the reality and not willing to comply with the historical trend, insisted on their own beliefs. These scholars would rather sacrifice their own lives to guard their beliefs. Although the seclusive scholars were also dissatisfied with the reality, they could remain aloof. These people would indulge in their mental world or enjoy countryside life style in the process of tilling the fields by themselves. The conforming scholars, who were the leading role of the time, were totally different with the above two sorts of scholars. They conformed to the historical development trends and pursued the realization of individual value.
