辛亥革命前中国思想界对古希腊罗马的评述

辛亥革命前的中国思想界是一个大动荡的时期。民族危机的加深和西学东渐的加强，以及中国资产阶级的分化，导致西方各种学术思潮纷至沓来。其中古希腊罗马文化成为思想界介绍西方文化的大宗。辛亥革命前中国思想界对古希腊罗马的评述主要集中在三个方面：对古希腊罗马文化的评述；对古希腊罗马政治法律的评述；对中国传统文化和古希腊罗马文化的比较。其中，希腊文化是被评述的主流，而粱启超先生则为评述的主要角色。

Chinese Thinkers Comments on Greece and Rome before 1911 Revolution

Before the 1911 revolution, Chinese thinkers circle was trapped in a great social turmoil. Deepening national crisis, increasing influence of western learning and the disintegration of Chinese bourgeoisie were the factors responsible for the influx of western thoughts. Among them, ancient Greek and Roman culture were avidly introduced and commented. The comments were mainly on three aspects： Greek and Roman culture, the politics and law of ancient Greece and Rome and comparisons with Chinese traditional culture, with Greek culture the main object of commentary and Liang Qichao the main commentator.
