| Abstract: | The control of processes with Jong or variable time-delay is very difficult, however, it frequently appears in modern industrial plants. Under the enlightenment of self-tuning control and predictive control, an adaptive long-range predictive controller is derived in this paper. Simulation results show that the controller is insensitive to the time-delay variation, and can be used to control other complex processes. |
