摘    要:本文提出一种在微机软件上实现18位地址磁带机与22位总线系统的联机技术,并研究了在一类 PDP-11宿主机上生成另一类具有不同型号主机和不同系统配置的PDP-11 目标系统的技术。利用这些技术对PDP-11/23和PDP-11/45两种系统进行了改造。实践证明,改造后的两个系统工作都很正常,实现了PDP-11/23磁带机的正常联机使用,并大大增加了其后备存贮容量。使 PDP-11/45的 CRT终端扩充到 9台,建立了PDP-11/45和 PDP-11/23机之间的正常通信渠道,共享软件资源。

Abstract:This paper presents an on-line connection of 18 bit address magnetic tape transport with 22 bit bus by computer software. One kind of PDP-11 host computer can be restructured to generate another PDP-11 abject system with different model and system configuration. Two computer systems PDP-11/23 and PDP-11/45 have been restructured to connec-t PDP-11/23 magnetic tape transport with PDP-11/45, providing enlarged backup storage capacity. The CRT terminals of PDP-11/45 computer are increased to 9 units. A common comunicalion channel between PDPl-1/45 and PDP-11/23 computers is established and the software resource can be shared.
