双DSP实现MPEG-2到H.264转码硬件系统的研究

摘    要:现阶段在视频通信领域存在多种视频编码标准,这些标准在码流格式、压缩效率、输出码率、分辨率等方面不尽相同,分别适用于不同的领域。H.264和MPEG-2是当前较为通用的两种数字视频压缩格式。该文就MPEG-2编码概述及应用、H.264技术特点及应用优势、MPEG-2转码H.264常用算法、MPEG-2转码H.264系统的搭建等几个方面详细阐述了双DSP实现MPEG-2到H.264码流的转换技术。

Abstract:The field of video communications at this stage exists multiple video coding standards, which are different in the bit stream format, compression efficiency, the output bit rate, and resolution respectively which are applied into different areas. H. 264 and MPEG-2 is currently two popular kinds of digital video compression formats. In this paper, an overview of MPEG-2 encoding and applications, H. 264 technical characteristics and application advantages, MPEG-2 to H. 264 transcoding algorithms, MPEG-2 to H. 264 transcoding system, and the structures are described in detail.
