An Exploration of the Training Patterns of English Majors at Teacher Training Institutions

Training objectives are the ultimate goals,as well as the point of departure and basis of educational activities.How to establish a new-type training pattern of English majors at teacher training institutions in the age of knowledge economy has great significance to our teaching affairs.Globalization of economy and culture has made it necessary to reform the traditional training patterns of English talents.Through an investigation and analysis,this paper discusses the necessities of training new-type English major graduates at teacher training institutions,and a new training pattern has also been constructed.
