| 摘 要： | 面子可解释语言使用中的礼貌现象,而不同文化的差异导致面子维护在跨文化交际中难以实现。文章通过分析面子在中西方文化中不同的文化根源,总结面子维护理论并提出可行的拉近面子距离的策略,从而更有效地进行跨文化交际。

| Abstract: | Face can explain the phenomenon of politeness in language use,and due to cultural differences,face maintenance is difficult to achieve in cross-cultural communication.Through analysis of different cultural roots of faces in Western and Chinese societies,this essay summarizes face maintenance theory,and tentatively proposes feasible strategies to narrow the gap between faces of different cultures,thus to make cross-cultural communication more effective. |
