A TRANSFER MATRIX ALGORITHM FOR BRANCH-FAULT DIAGNOSIS IN LINEAR ANALOG CIRCUITS

Based on the substutition theorem and superposition theorem the fault models, expressed by fault indicators, for RLC branches and controlled sources and the computational formulas of fault parameters are given. Then the elements and algorithm of the branch-fault diagnosis are explained by the branch-measuring port transfer function matrix and fault diagnosis equations. Based on the full fault model, simple algorithms for the branch-measuring port transfer function matrix and the transfer matrix among fault branches are presented. With two examples, we explain singlefault and multiple-fault diagnosis problems and their solutions. Finally, a CAA program for two faults diagnosis concludes the paper.
