| Abstract: | This paper discusses how to teach senior English according to cognitive lexicology.It holds that vocabulary-teaching should be conducted from the following four aspects:to teach core words from the basic-category vocabulary;to pay more attention to lexical configurations;to practice sentence-making based on word-frequency theory;to teach vocabulary in the way of paraphrasing. |
