晚清时期西方数学的汉译

晚清时期是西方近代数学在中国的传入初期,高等数学著作开始译入我国.李善兰与英国传教士伟烈亚历合作汉译了<代微积拾级,这是中国翻译出版的第一部高等数学著作,其创造的大量中文数学名词被普遍接受并沿用至今.这个时期尚未进入中国现代数学研究开拓时期,汉译的国外数学文献多是中国人和外国人合作完成的,为中国现代数学研究开拓时期的数学研究奠定了基础.
