摘    要:英语释义教学法一直被认为是行之有效的教学方法而在英语课堂上广泛使用。它的突出作用就是在阅读的过程中可以使文章更容易理解;在语言输出时可以锻炼学生的基本语言应用能力但是这一教学方法的负面作用也不容忽视。文体学知识的引入恰好可以弥补这些不足。

Abstract:The strategy of paraphrasing in English teaching has been widely adapted. It has conventionally considered an effective way of teaching English. It makes the language easier to understand in reading and makes students more exposed to the English language resulting in the development of English proficiency. While it displays its strengths, its negative effect should not be neglected. Appropriate stylistics knowledge will serve as a remedy.
