| 摘 要： | 隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段 ,还是人类认知事物的一种基本方法。人的思维的隐喻性产生了语言中的隐喻 ,而语言中的隐喻是人类认知活动的结果与工具。从语义与语用角度对隐喻进行尝试性分析。

| Abstract: | Metaphor is not only a rhetorical device, but also a basic way for people get to know things. Metaphorical thoughts in people's minds create metaphors in language which in turn is the manifestation and tool of people's cognitive activities. This paper took a cognitive approach into English metaphor from both semantic and pragmatic point of view. |
