| Abstract: | By using the variational method and modified LLP transformation, it is investigated the effect of the electron-longitudinal optical phonon interaction on the Stark shifts of the ground state of electron in a quantum well wire.The corrections due to the electron-confined optical phonon coupling and electron-SO phonon are calculated. |
