Gene therapy and its advance on studies

Gene therapy is a method which can cure disease through introducing foreign gene to the body. It is a new biology technique and widely used for treating haemophilia, AIDS, sugar diabetes, cancer, heart,vein disease and other diseases. The treating process includes gene transferring and gene expressing,and the selection of carrier and the precise control of the expression of the target gene are two key steps. The new methods also include antisense nucleic acid technique and ribozyme technique in gene therapy.The status gene therapy including the basic steps,methods,objects and its prospects was presented in this article.
