Study of software of geometric parameter measuring instrument for radome of missile

A novel geometric parameter measuring instrument for radome has been developed and manufactured in order to measure complicated rotational solid, such as radome. This invention has solved a tough problem in aerospace & aeronautics research. At first, its measuring principle and the composition of the software system are presented. Then the way to generate motion locus for numerical control and the data acquiring & processing method is given. At last, the paper introduces how to generate three dimension graph, and the concurrent engineering approach to software development is discussed and presented. By using this instrument in practice, good results have been obtained.
