一种基于小波包变换的图像融合方法

本文提出一种基于小波包变换的图像融合方法,采用基于区域的最大值选择准则对系数进行融合。实验结果证明,该方法提高了图像的时频分辨率,尽可能得保留了图像的细节特征,比基于正交小波变换的图像融合方法具有更好的性能。

An Image Fusion Algorithm Based on WaveletPacked Transform

An image fusion algorithm based on wavelet packed transform is proposed in this paper.In the fusion scheme,the wavelet packed coefficients are fused by the area-based maximum selection rule.The experimental results show that the algorithm presented here improves the time-frequency resolution and preserves as many detailed features as possible,so it is more effective than the methods based on orthogonal wavelet.
