The Zunyi Meeting and the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central Committee are two great historical transitions in the CPC history. To make a comparative study of the two meetings, we can find a lot of similarities between them. First, both were the great watershed of the period of democratic revolution and the period of socialist revolution. Then, both reached the decisions of prudently punishing those who had committed mistakes. Finally, the core of the collective leadership of the CPC was established and abundant accomplishments were achieved at the two meetings.
