| 摘 要： | 英语复合词的比喻义不可能凭空而生，没有根基地构造出一个全新的概念来，它与人们的隐喻思维密切相关。从认知语言学、隐喻学和发生学的角度探讨英语复合词产生比喻义的趋向及依据，追寻英语复合词本义与比喻义之间的相似性与差异性的关系及其递差。揭示英语复合词比喻义构建的认知规律和认知动因。
