| Abstract: | On the basis of application of the principles of thermodynamics, this paper explains cause for the nonsolution of mercuric sulphide neither in the water, nor in the dilute acid and in the nitric acid, but its solution only in the aqua regia owing to the formation of coordination compounds. |
