| 摘 要： | 在对实例分析的基础上,对《朗文当代英语大辞典》(英英·英汉双解)进行了评述,指出该辞典具有五个特征,即释义用词简单;语言与文化结合紧密;设置用法说明和同义词辨析;例证丰富;插图精美、附录内容实用,是一部实用性极强的辞典.文章还对辞典所存在的问题提出了改进意见.

| Abstract: | In terms of Cultural Semantics,this paper comments on Longman Dictionary of English Language and Culture(English-Chinese) through analyzing five of its features,i.e.,simple defining vocabulary;close relationship between language and culture;useful usage notes and synonym discrimination;abundant illustrative examples;beautiful pictorial illustrations and practical appendices,which combine to make it a practical dictionary.And this paper puts forward the points that need to be improved. |
