| Abstract: | The concurrency control of the database is discussed and a concurrency control algorithm based on timestamp is proposed. It is different from existing concurrency control algorithms with static timestamp in that in this one the change of timestamp for a transaction is needed to avoid unnecessary abortion of transactions. For this algorithm, a transaction is aborted only when its operation on some object leads to inconsistency. The algorithm gives better concurrency than that by existing ones. |
