摘    要:为了研究新型行波方向元件以满足高压输电线路的需要,有必要对现有行波方向元件的本质和相互之间的联系进行深入分析。该文讨论了现有的各种行波方向元件的内在联系,利用方向行波统一了各种行波方向元件的原理以及判据,并给出了各种方向元件在原理和性能上的区别。分析和计算结果表明:各种行波方向元件所依赖的基本物理现象是一样的,它们在本质上是统一的。但是由于各种行波方向元件的判据表达式并不相同,所以它们在性能上仍然存在差异,其中波阻抗方向元件、比率式行波方向元件和幅值比较式行波方向元件具有相对优越的保护性能。

Abstract:It is necessary to study the essential principles and relations for the reseach of new directional relay based on travelling wave to satisfy the requirement of high-voltage transmission line.The paper analyzes the basic operating principles of various directional relays developed for travelling waves which are all based on the same physical phenomenon.An analytical expression for the various directional relays for forward and backward travelling waves is used to analyze the different principles and capabilities of these directional relays which differ from their different criteria and algorithms.Surge impedance relays,ratio directional relays,and directional relays based on amplitude comparisons of the travelling wave have relatively better performance.
