构建社会主义和谐社会是一项具有划时代意义的系统工程，需要社会各种组织和全体公民积极参与。民间社会组织在我国社会转型进入新的历史时期，将为我国社会的良性运行与和谐社会的建设注入新的活力和动力，发挥特殊作用。在建设和谐社会的进程中，政府要积极支持民间社会组织的发展，民间社会组织要不断完善自身的组织建设，二者在治理与管理上实现良性互动。
