| Abstract: | The functionalist approaches in Germany and the basic concepts about Skopos theory are introduced,and the cultural connotation and constitute characteristics of Chinese menu are analyzed.Under the perspective of Skopos theory,special attention is paid to the principles,function,strategies and evaluation of the English translation of Chinese menu. |
