摘    要:介绍了德国功能翻译理论和目的论的基本概念,分析了中文菜单的文化内涵和构成特点,在目的论的观照下,讨论了菜单翻译的原则、功能、策略和评价。

Abstract:The functionalist approaches in Germany and the basic concepts about Skopos theory are introduced,and the cultural connotation and constitute characteristics of Chinese menu are analyzed.Under the perspective of Skopos theory,special attention is paid to the principles,function,strategies and evaluation of the English translation of Chinese menu.
