| 摘 要： | 通过考察1972年10月新中国首个赴关医学代表团访问的历史,分析其背景,代表团成员的遴选,访问日程,以及给中美两国关系、医学发展和交流所带来的影响,厘清相互矛盾和不准确的记载;通过对代表团历史作用的审思来讨论在两国尚未建立正式外交关系的特殊的历史时期,以短期访问为主要形式的科技外交所具有的特点和作用.
