太原西山太原组砂岩特征及其地质意义

摘    要:以太原西山晚古生界石炭系太原组下部石英砂岩及晋祠砂岩为研究对象,对砂岩的岩石学、矿物学和重矿物进行分析,揭示太原组下部两层砂岩的碎屑端元组成特征。两层砂岩体的碎屑颗粒以岩浆岩型石英,沉积岩型石英,沉积岩岩屑和变质岩型石英为主;重矿物以稳定矿物和中等稳定矿物为主。该两层砂岩的物源区母岩组合都为沉积岩、变质岩和火成岩共存;且随着时间演化,物源母岩具有沉积岩比例相对降低而结晶岩比例相对增加的趋势。

Abstract:The sandstone of Taiyuan formation of the upper Paleozoic in Taiyuan Xishan be selected as the study target. The Petrology, mineralogy and heavy mineral characteristics were analyzed, revealing the detrital components of the two important sandstone layers.The sandstone fragment components mainly be composed of magma type quartz, chert fragment ,sandstone type quartz and metamorphic type quartz.Heavy mineral mainly consist of stable minerals and moderately stable minerals .It indicated that the provenance of two sandstone layers was the sedimentary rock, metamorphic rock and magmatic rock mixed. With the geological evolution, the composition of provenance rocks had a trend that the sedimentary rock relatively decreased and the crystalline rock relatively increased.
