Study of Poisson Process and the Queuing Theory in the Bank Queuing Problem

Bank queuing phenomenon is common, and it＇ s the concern that how to alleviate and control the bank queu- ing problem for both customers and the bank managers. The article deals with the problem of bank queuing based on the Poisson process and the Queuing theory, and determines the number of service window. The result shows that it＇ s the same with the actual. Then we conclude that the combination of Poisson process and Queuing theory is a practical new way to solve the problem of bank queuing, and can provide decision support for the setting of the number of windows as well as the optimal system problems.
