| Abstract: | Language markedness is a common phenomenon in languages,and is reflected from hearing,vision and sense,i.e.the variation in the three aspects such as phonology,morphology and semantics.This paper focuses on the interpretation of markedness in language use following the three perspectives,i.e.pragmatic interpretation,psychological interpretation and cognitive interpretation,with an aim to define the function of markedness. |
