原子转移自由基聚合制备以SiO2为基底的聚苯乙烯刷

摘    要:通过溴异丁酸十一烷基氯硅烷酯与SiO2表面的羟基反应,制备出溴异丁酸十一烷基氯硅烷酯单分子层,并原位引发苯乙烯单体原子转移自由基聚合,制备了聚苯乙烯刷。用X射线光电子能谱、原子力显微镜及水接触角对SiO2表面进行分析,结果表明,溴异丁酸十一烷基氯硅烷酯成功接枝到SiO2表面,并得到了均匀致密的聚苯乙烯刷。凝胶渗透色谱测试表明,聚苯乙烯的数均分子量与单体转化率成线性关系,具有活性聚合的特征。

Abstract:An(11-(2-bromo-2-methyl)propionyloxy)undecyltrichlorosilane monolayer was grafted onto a silicon wafer.Polystyrene brushes were obtained by in situ atom transfer radical polymerization on the modified silicon wafer.The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy and contact angle measurements showed that polystyrene brushes were successfully obtained.Furthermore,GPC test showed that the number average molecular weights of the polystyrene increased linearly with monomer conversion,indicating that the graft polymerization proceeded in a living fashion.
