论林语堂编辑思想与编辑活动的“一团矛盾”

林语堂是中国20世纪30年代自由主义文学的代表人之一,同时也是独树一帜又充满历史争议的著名杂志编辑家。林语堂编辑思想与编辑实践呈现出＂一团矛盾＂的特点。主要表现为林语堂所主张的期刊编辑思想与其编辑实践并不完全一致,并且有两种幽默观共存于同一刊物。他持中间立场办刊也是不得已而为之,充满苦恼与矛盾。

Lin Yutang was one of the representatives of the liberalism literature in 1930s,also a well-known and prestigious journal editor in the era of ＂magazine year＂.Lin Yutang＇s editing thoughts and practice appears to be contradictory.His magazines contain two kinds of different humorous view,and his middle political and cultural position also give him much affliction and antinomy.
