| Abstract: | The analytic hierarchy process method is an effective quantitative analysis means for the selection of the dominant industries of Shanxi. Firstly, the index system for the selection is structured on the basis of the economic situation in Shanxi. Then, the existing dominant industries are balanced and sorted with AHP method, the metallurgical, power, and coal industries are distinguished as the first three places, so they are determined as the dominant industries in Shanxi province. |
