汉唐宋元时期沅水流域的人口变迁

沅水流域的人口分布在先秦已经比较广泛,楚汉时期黔中、武陵郡及其属县的广泛设置为人口的增长创造了更有利的条件,汉代的著籍人口已达二三十万。三国至隋唐时期,沅水流域的人口继续增长,其分布由下游向上游递减。宋朝进一步加大了沅水流域的开发力度,不仅鼎州,而且辰、沅、靖三州人口数量增幅也很大,崇宁年间达到大约五十万人,宋代人口增幅变为由下游向上游逐渐加大。元代,该流域的人口数量增至最高峰。元代以前长时期的户口增长为明清时期沅水流域经济的开发奠定了一定的基础。

In the Qin Dynasty,the population distribution along Yuanjiang River was fairly widespread.During the Han Dynasty,with the establishment of Qianzhong County and Wuling County which provided favorable environment for population increase,the population reached 200 000 to 300 000.From the Three Kingdoms to the Sui and Tang Dynasties,the population along Yuanjiang River grew continuously,and decreased progressively from the lower reaches to the upper reaches.During the Song Dynasty,the government promoted development along Yuanjiang River,so that the population added up to 500 000,and increased progressively increased from the lower reaches to the upper reaches.In the Yuan dynasty,the population reached its summit.The long-term population growth laid a foundation for the economic development of the region along the Yuanjiang River in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
