自陡峭效应对色散缓变光纤的调制不稳定性影响

摘    要:研究了自陡峭这一非线性效应对不同群色散剖面色散缓变光纤中调制不稳定性的影响,结果表明不同类型的色散缓变光纤中的色散缓变参数均存在一最佳值,在此值下增益谱的谱宽最宽,而当色散缓变参数大于某一值时增益谱宽为0.

Abstract:The effect of nonlinear self-steeping on the modulation instability in decreasing dispersion fiber (DDF) with different group dispersion profiles is investigated. The results showed that there were different best values on the dispersion decreasing parameter of different DDF and that the gain spectrum was the broadest. The gain spectrum was 0 when the value of the dispersion decreasing parameter exceeded a certain threshold.
