英汉色彩概念隐喻认知初探

色彩是上帝的杰作。英汉两种语言中存在着大量表示颜色的词汇,颜色是一种客观存在的、特殊的物质形态。颜色词作为一个特殊词类,是探讨语言与认知关系的重要途径。隐喻不仅仅是一种语言现象,更是一种认知体系,一种思维方式。而概念隐喻也称为隐喻概念,是通过认知主体的思维在两个认知域(概念)之间建立认知联系,或者概念领域间的相互转换。本文首先介绍了概念隐喻的特征;其次分析了颜色的概念隐喻特性,最后从隐喻认知的角度分析了英汉两种语言中色彩的隐喻意义异同,得以为更好的顺畅的为英汉交流服务。
