| Abstract: | The observation that cardioatrium,but not ventricle,possesses estrogen receptors by using the radioligand binding assay was reported.The estrogen receptors in rabbit atrium showed its characteristic as follows:(1)can be saturated,had limited capacity and with high affinity;(2)had high steroid specificity;(3)readily binding.Androgen receptors of rabbit cardioatrium and ventricle also showed the above mentioned characteristics. |
