南社成员程善之家世、生平考述

皖南歙县程氏家族是清代颇负盛名的簪缨仕宦、世代书香之家,其后人程善之不仅是南社成员,还是同盟会会员。上世纪初他在扬州任教;辛亥革命中追随孙中山,任大元帅府评议;二次革命失败后,回扬州继续从事教育事业。1928年起主笔《新江苏报》,直至逝世;"九·一八"后曾积极进行抗战宣传。他喜好佛学,但亦积极进行文学创作,作为南社社员,他的诗、词、小说都颇有影响。然而关于程善之的家世、生平却很少有人谈及,现就其家世、生平作一简单的考述。

Study on The Family History and Life of Cheng Shan-zhi as a Member of the Southern Society

The family of Cheng in Shexian of southern Anhui was quite famous for its family that had produced public officials for several generations and its literary family.Cheng Shan-zhi,who was a descendant of the family,was not only a member of the Southern Society,but also a member of the United League of China.In the beginning of the last century,he taught in Yangzhou.He supported Dr Sun Yat-sen,first president of the Republic of China,and became a councilor of his.When Second Revolution failed,he returned to Yangzhou to continue his teaching.Since 1928,he became a writer of the newspaper ＂New Jiangsu News＂until his death.He preferred Buddhism and threw himself into the writing.As a member of the Southern Society,he was famous for his poems and novels.But the family history and life of Cheng Shan-zhi is rarely talked about,which this paper discussed.
