CO2 Emissions Status, Countermeasures of Climate Change in United States and Its Enlightenment to China

As a developed country, America wants to play an important role in climate change issues and to obtain leadership, promoting its making the most of climate change issues. Based on the introduction of the American CO2 emissions, the countermeasures of American climate change is expounded from organizing special agencies, science and technology re- search plan, strengthening legislation, taking many measures, and strengthening international cooperation, etc, respectively. This will help en- lighten China to cope with climate change by strengthening basic research, stressing organization building, perfecting laws and regulations, promoting innovative capability, paying attention to public opinion and driving international cooperation.
