With the increasing demands both on the speed of the paper machine and on the quality of the paper, the design of headbox has met continual challenges. This paper discusses the main points of the headbox design of the high speed paper machine and sums up the characteristics of modern headboxes. The paper also looks into the future development of headbox. |
