| Abstract: | The meaning of Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development theory was expounded and implications of the theory for English listening teaching in China was revealed from the teaching philosophy and mode during teaching activities.Cultivation of students’ initiative and interaction in teaching has been explored for improving college students’ listening comprehension. |
