| Abstract: | A long range statistical forecast model is built by combining multichannel singular spectrum analysis (MSSA) and analog approach. The 30d average anomalies of 700 hPa height at grid points are predicted on the predictors of leading space time principal components of early days height field obtained from MSSA. It is showed that the method is effective. |
