The Magazine and the Library

The magazine, which can be simply defined as the one that is issued by self and provides a kind of the cultural visual field for the people, becomes a type of information resource that the library wants to collect. But its feature of short periodicity brings about the challenge to the collection, classification and storage of the library. In the light of the problems and obstacles existing in the collection of the magazines by the library, this paper probes into the peculiar modes and feasibility of each library's collection of magazines.
