介绍了技术效率的定义、测定原理及技术效率在国内外图书馆界的应用成果,并概括了已有研究成果的特点(确定性前沿面的应用多于随机前沿面的应用,投入型技术效率的测定多于产出型技术效率的测定,国外研究水平超过国内研究水平),分析了产生这些特点的原因。

The Technical Efficiency and the Status of Its Applications in Library's Performance Evaluation

This paper introduces the basic concept and measuring principle of technical efficiency and its application results in the libraries of China and foreign countries,and sums up some features of obtained research achievements including the application of deterministic frontier is wider than that of stochastic frontier,the calculation of input-oriented technical efficiency is more than that of output-oriented technical efficiency,the research level abroad goes beyond the domestic level,and analyzes the possible reasons of producing these characteristics.
