摘    要:介绍了一种制造电火花加工用石墨电极的新工艺,这种技术采用高频微振动原理,直接用快速成型制成的母型翻制成形研具,然后利用这种研具,在没有任何刀具或夹具的情况下,加工出形状复杂的石墨电极,目前,已采用一种自行开发的价格低廉、性能可靠的树脂水泥材料浇铸成了研具,并用它制成了石墨电极,用来电火花加工拖拉机曲柄连杆的锻模。

Abstract:A new technique for the fabrication of graphite electrical discharge machining (EDM) electrode is presented. Based on the high frequency vibration principle, this technique could directly replicate complex shaped graphite electrode from the master pattern built with rapid prototyping (RP) technology without using any cutter or fixture. A cheap and performance reliable resin has been developed and the abrader has been cast with this material. Using this abrader, tractor crank link forging dies have been fabricated by means of electrical discharge machining.
