外语教学中如何激发学生的学习动机

摘    要:描述了学习动机的几种分类,论述了外语教学中动机对教学双方的影响,指出激发学生的学习动机特别是内在动机和融合型动机是非常重要的,因为它可以激发教师的教学热情及责任心,加强学生的学习自主性,从而更好地搞好教学.同时还提出了激发学生学习动机的几条建议.

Abstract:This paper describes several types of motivation, discusses the effect of motivation on foreign language teaching and learning, and points out that it is important to activate students' learning motivation, especially intrinsic and integrative motivation, since they can encourage teacher's enthusiasm and responsibility to teaching, as well as activate students' autonomy in learning English, so that English teaching can be developed. Some methods to activating students' motivation are suggested.
