摘    要:《沉沦》主人公是郁达夫笔下的第一个“零余者”形象,他善良,热诚而又过于敏感,孤傲清高,如何认识这样的人物形象,特征是与之相伴的大量的性苦闷描写,成为阅读,欣赏这篇小说无法回避的问题,郁达夫着力向人物内心深入开掘,使全篇充溢着感伤情调和忧郁美。《沉沦》的真正价值,就在于它突破了一已的情感宣泄,带有鲜明的时代印记和真诚美好的呼唤。

Abstract:The protagnist in The Fall is the first of the "superfluous" in Yu Dafu's literary creaitons.He is kindhearted and cordial,yet at the same time oversensitive,aloof and is tortured by suppressed sexual drive.This paper argues that the interpretation and appreciation of The Fall presupposes a fair view of this protagonist.Yu Dafu's in-depth exploration of his inner world has not only led to the shaping of an unforgettable character but helped to create a mood of melancholy rewarding the reader with unique aesthetic experience.
