多任务协作、跨学科研究与多学科人才结构匹配——对美国麻省理工辐射实验室雷达研制的历史考察

美国政府基于国家利益组织的"雷达研制"等军事研发工程,有力地促进了大学跨学科研究的发展和繁荣。雷达研制在美国能取得巨大的成功,最根本的原因就是多学科领域的科学家、工程师等人之间进行有效的跨学科研究。从雷达研制的复杂过程可以发现,多任务协作的跨学科研究合作需要合理的多学科人才结构匹配,即:战略决策人才、组织管理人才、科学研究人才与工程技术人才。     

美国大学的跨学科战略实践及其经验启示

进入21世纪以来,美国大学广泛实施了跨学科战略与行动计划。本研究通过多重组合案例形式详细介绍了美国研究型大学的跨学科战略、组织政策、组织结构与特色实践,建议我国应制定国家层次与大学层次的跨学科教育与研究战略,加快大学跨学科学术组织建设,以推动高等教育体系的制度创新与组织变革。     

论外语院校英语专业ESP课程的定位

ESP(专门用途英语)课程对于培养复合型外语人才的重要性已经是毋庸置疑的,但是在实际的外语院校英语专业课程设置中,ESP课程的定位仍有只重形式,不重内容的嫌疑。本文试图通过分析ESP与EGP(通用英语)的区别与联系,以及英语专业ESP与大学英语ESP的区别与联系,找到更明确合理的外语院校英语专业ESP课程的定位,并且探讨目前英语专业ESP课程低效的原因,从而找到相应解决途径。     

交叉促进创新的哲学基础浅议

跨入知识经济时代,创新成为时代发展的主题,所需人才也多为创新型人才、复合型人才,因此,关注科学的原始创新,注重学科的交叉便成为研究创新的一个渠道。基于学科交叉与创新的这种密切关联,从本体论基础、方法论依据以及认识论意义3个方面进行了哲学意义上的探讨,希望能对我国科学的原始创新以有益的启示。     

Clarifying interactional and contributory expertise

This paper discusses the distinction between contributory expertise and interactional expertise developed by Harry Collins and Robert Evans over a series of publications. The distinction has been widely adopted and used to analyze the expertise of different groups of people, such as scientists, journalists and color blind. While the distinction is a fruitful tool to begin thinking about expertise in a more structured way, one also finds substantial inconsistencies and unnecessary vagueness in Collins and Evans' writings. Clarifying these issues will make the distinction an even more useful tool for analyzing expertise in science.     

Unification and mechanistic detail as drivers of model construction: Models of networks in economics and sociology

We examine the diversity of strategies of modelling networks in (micro) economics and (analytical) sociology. Field-specific conceptions of what explaining (with) networks amounts to or systematic preference for certain kinds of explanatory factors are not sufficient to account for differences in modelling methodologies. We argue that network models in both sociology and economics are abstract models of network mechanisms and that differences in their modelling strategies derive to a large extent from field-specific conceptions of the way in which a good model should be a general one. Whereas the economics models aim at unification, the sociological models aim at a set of mechanism schemas that are extrapolatable to the extent that the underlying psychological mechanisms are general. These conceptions of generality induce specific biases in mechanistic explanation and are related to different views of when knowledge from different fields should be seen as relevant.

高校跨学科建设中的商务英语学科再定位思考

高等教育国际化服务目标需要高校英语学科建设进行跨学科重新整合和改革。本研究的重点为:一、英语教学要进行"内容教学",而且不仅仅局限于英语专业要进行商务英语的学科建设,大学英语也应该开展商务英语教学;二、要改变交际英语为主流的教育目标为重视写作等输出性教学;三、合理安排教学顺序。

在美国黑人文学理论的建构中，贝克的贡献值得重视。贝克在这一领域的前期工作是将黑人文学置于种族文化背景中加以界定和考察，近来又将黑人的文化传统与当代黑人的文化实践联系起来，探讨黑人的语言运用与其文化的关系。
