Summary Hexoprenaline potentiated the14C-aminopyrine uptake (a reliable index of H+ generation) of isolated rat gastric cells stimulated by 10–6–10–4 mol/l carbachol, and inhibited that in response to 10–4 mol/l histamine without and in the presence of propranolol. It is concluded that hexoprenaline acts as a partial agonist on parietal cell H2-receptors and that -adrenoceptor activation may functionally modualte gastric acid secretion.Acknowledgments. S. Summary A correlation between the postirradiation increase of the small intestine motility and the prostaglandin-like activity in this organ during gastrointestinal syndrome was observed. Résumé La production de chaleur, la température du corps et du QR de 6 porcelets âgés de 4 à 13 jours, avant et après l'injection s.c. de noradrénaline (200 g/kg) ont été déterminées. On n'a pas constaté l'effet de l'injection de noradrénaline sur les animaux de 4–6 jours, pendant que le métabolisme et la température du rectum des porcelets âgés de 11–13 jours augmentaient distinctement, et que la valeur du QR a baissait significativement.

Summary Mouse transplanted tumors, in contrast to normal tissues, contain a pyruvate kinase (PK) variant sensitive to the inhibitory action of L-cysteine and less sensitive to saturated fatty acids than the normal enzyme. In selected normal and tumor materials two fractions of PK were separated. Fraction A (20–30% (NH4)2SO4 saturation) dominated in normal liver, and fraction B (50–60% (NH4)2SO4 saturation) in skeletal muscles and Ehrlich ascites tumor. Only this fraction B from tumor material was sensitive to L-cysteine, and seems to contain a tumor-specific PK variant which might be considered as a marker of neoplastic transformation in a broad spectrum of mouse experimental tumors. 相似文献

Summary Studies with isolated rat adrenocortical cells have shown that neuropeptide Y (NPY) inhibits both basal and ACTH-stimulated corticosterone secretion.
